  • Justice for Her: a compelling documentary that follows the true story of a black woman wrongly accused of murder. She spends18 months in jail for or a crime she did not commit. The score is a mixture of Jazz and Hip Hop that carries the emotional weight of the timely story.

  • Electile Dysfunction:This wide-ranging analysis — featuring commentary from an impressive array of local and national politicos, connected observers and average joes — delves into the inner workings of sophisticated 21st-century campaigning to examine the dichotomy between the complex science of electioneering and the disillusioned voting public. Rodney comes through with a powerful score and ends the movie with his song The American Performed By his alter ego Roddark.

  • A new score by Rodney Whittenberg for the Aaron Blandon film " A Place To Go Home To".  The film  highlights the House of Umoja's efforts to stop gang violence in the 1970's and the influences of the ancient West African city of Djenné on the House of Umoja.   • Rodney is once again working with Fink Productions on another groundbreaking documentary for young people about Central and South America.
  • A new festival date has been added for In Sickness and In Health at the Santa Fe Film Festival on Sunday, December 2nd. santafefilmfestival.com
  • Rodney spent part of the summer working on multiple arrangements of a piece of music everyone knows, Mozart's Ah! vous dirai-je, Maman, also known as the English nursery rhyme, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. It's for the Franklin Institute Science Museum's exhibit, Identity. Rodney produced and developed multiple versions of the piece for the exhibit that explores every aspect of one's identity.   • Anthony Giacchino's documentary film, The Camden 28, is currently airing on PBS's POV program. Check local listings for dates and times. Rodney arranged and performed a moving version of Amazing Grace for the closing credits, now available for download on iTunes.   • Rodney composed music for another festival-winning film, In Sickness and In Health, by director Pilar Prasse. The film won the audience and jury award for Best Documentary at the  Philadelphia Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and the audience award at the Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.   • Rodney composed a truly masterful score for the violin. Drawing on his love for eastern European folk music and traditional Hebrew music, the AFI Production/Inbar Gilboa film, The Violin, is touring the festival circuit and will air on the AFI channel in January.
  • The History Channel's production, The First Incursion: America's War with Spain, is now airing. Rodney produced the music and co-composed music for the show with the amazing string trio, Time for Three.
